Had a field trip last week to the Art Gallery of NSW to view a few of Helmut Newton's work up close for the first time. Albeit a small exhibition, it was amazing to recognise a fresh faced Kate Moss among the frames and frames of youthful faces from the 70s and 80s. I think what really draws me to his work is that it oozes raw, truth and reality. He depicts real life in all it's good, bad, ugly and scandalous - and scandals always makes us look twice, right?

Helmut Newton's exhibition runs until the 9th of May and I highly recommend anyone who has ever been enamoured with Fashion photography to have a go see! For more details, click here.
